Services and Treatments

Our doctors offer the following services and treatments to help ensure you and your baby are healthy throughout your pregnancy:

Birthing Services
When the time comes to deliver your baby, your doctor will be there to guide you through delivery and to safely welcome your child into the world. We specialize in various delivery methods, including natural, vaginal, C-Section, vaginal birth after C-Section (VBAC) and doula-friendly.

Family Planning
We provide education and guidance to help you make the best choice for you and your family regarding the number of children you wish to have and the timing between children.

Prenatal Care
When you are pregnant, our physicians will provide the necessary checkups and tests to help keep you and your baby healthy. If any issues do arise, our goal is to find them early and treat them before they cause other problems.

High Risk OB
Our doctors specialize in high risk pregnancies. Factors that can put a pregnancy at risk include existing health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure or kidney disease; lifestyle choices such as alcohol use or smoking; age-related factors such as teen pregnancy or first-time pregnancy after age 35; and multiple gestation (twins, triplets or more), which can lead to premature births.

Birth Control
If you do not want to get pregnant, our doctors can work with you to find the form of birth control that's right for you. There are many different methods to choose from including birth control pills, condoms, diaphragms, patches, intrauterine devices and sterilization.

Infertility Services
Our doctors provide infertility services including testing to possibly determine the cause of infertility, imaging and blood tests to monitor ovulation, and treatments to help you get pregnant.

Ultrasounds
These imaging tests enable your doctor to get a good picture of how your baby is developing in your womb. They can also be used to check your pelvic organs during pregnancy.

Cerclages
A cerclage is performed when a women's cervix begins to dilate too early in the pregnancy. If not corrected it can lead to miscarriage, labor beginning too early or a premature delivery. During a cerclage, your surgeon will stitch your cervix closed. The stitches will be removed near the end of your pregnancy. You'll be given medication to help prevent a miscarriage.

Circumcision
A circumcision is a procedure to remove the foreskin from the tip of the penis. This is typically done before the baby leaves the hospital. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, circumcisions can help lower the risk of urinary tract infections, penile cancer and sexually transmitted diseases.

Essure Procedure
The essure procedure is a form of permanent birth control for women. During the procedure, the doctor inserts flexible coils into the fallopian tubes. In about three months, tissue forms around the coils, which creates a barrier preventing sperm from reaching the eggs.

Sonohysterogram
A sonohysterogram is a type of ultrasound. Fluid is injected into the uterus through the cervix before the imaging exam. This helps provide more detail than a standard ultrasound. It is normally performed to help find any underlying causes of repeated miscarriage or infertility.
